So I forgot to really post about the conference. Compared to most of the conferences I attend, EICS was quite small, but enjoyable. The conference was held at Carnegie Mellon University.

Wow, it's March already... let's take this moment to get up to speed.

Fall term ended about 1.5 weeks ago. The reason for this is the 3 month long strike that happened here at York. Today was the first day of the winter term. We should be finished sometime towards the middle/end of May with undergraduate exams running into June.

Happy belated Valentines Day! Rob and I decided to celebrate today instead of yesterday. We both decided to cook a really nice dinner together and since I lecture at Ryerson on Saturdays, Sunday worked out better.

2009 started out pretty hectic. I finished grading for two classes, finished & submitted my paper for alt.chi, and jumped right back into lecturing. The first week of classes at the college went pretty well. I have the same group of students all day on Thursdays from 8:30 - 2:30 and then again from 3:30 - 6:30.
